Models for the initiation of T cell activation
INF 205, SR1
Abstract:
T cell activation is a phenomenon of central importance in immunology. This talk will explain some analytical results concerning solutions of certain ODE models for this process. These include results on the number of steady states, their stability and the response functions they define. The relation between larger models, containing more details of the biology, and smaller, more phenomenological models of the same biological situation will also be discussed.
